Endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion and dorsal spinal stabilisation with EndoLIF® and the Percusys® Screw-Rod-System
EndoLIF® based on the well established TESSYS® method, opens a submuscular, minimally invasive, endoscopic-assisted path to the invertebral disc. It is a highly effective tool in lumbar interbody fusion. The access offers the possibility of tissue conservation and dilation of the soft tissue between the muscle fibres with the use of special dilators. Preparation of vertebral disc space and implantation of the EndoLIF® O-Cage is achieved through a so-called Q-tube, without the need to remove dorsal bony structures. Therefore, a fusion can be done without permanent damage to the bone or the multifidus muscle.
Percusys® is a multifunctional, percutaneous screw-rod system for vertebral stabilisation. The screw-shafts and instruments are extremely slim, highly diverse and easy to handle. The colour-coded, cannulated, fenestrated, self-cutting and self-drilling screws are available in all diameters and lengths with heads in mono- and polyaxial design. All implants are single sterile packed with the set screw preassembled in the shaft. There is just one standard tray and one add-on tray for all screws and all common surgical applications. The system offers more control, safety and ease of use, using fewer surgical steps with smaller incisions.
