Add value to your examination preparation

The Oswestry Spinal Examination Course is new this year from the Orthopaedic Institute and ideal for FRCS preparation

The Orthopaedic Institute, based at the centre for orthopaedic excellence, the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has long been known for its Oswestry Intensive Clinical Examination and Viva Courses, run in preparation for candidates’ FRCS (Tr & Orth) examinations. The courses are always over-subscribed and delegates consistently consider them of the greatest value to examination preparation offering, as they do, examination lectures, followed by the opportunity to examine approximately 38 patients under the tutelage of a similar number of top quality Faculty.

To enrich the FRCS preparation provision, Birender Balain, Consultant Spinal Surgeon, is offering a new FRCS Spinal Examination course, taking place on 17 September 2019. The Faculty will be of the highest quality, as would befit a centre such as the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, and the course will cover examination and viva techniques related specifically to the spine.

As with the Clinical Examination and Viva Course, we expect that the course will book up very quickly, so the Institute recommends getting in touch with them as soon as possible to obtain a place.
