The National Joint Registry is calling all staff in both the NHS and independent sector alike who are involved with the NJR – for example, from pre-assessment units, theatre, data entry, surgeons, patient safety and clinical governance managers – to the next meeting in its programme of free-to-attend regional events.
As the NJR is a national mandatory audit, time can be requested from your managers to support your attendance as part of ongoing professional development training.
The free-to-attend event will take place in the West Midlands on:
• Wednesday 8 February 2017, 10am – 4pm
• West Bromwich Albion Football Club, The Hawthorns, Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, B71 4LF
The programme includes key guidance, good practice examples and the latest developments from the NJR. The day will provide unrivalled networking opportunities for all those involved in assuring data quality and patient safety. By attending the event, delegates will take away skills to demonstrate the highest possible standards of clinical governance that all hospitals strive to achieve.
For those in the independent sector, there will also be opportunities to feedback on the NJR’s Data Quality Audit programme which for 2016/17 will be introduced to the independent sector.
There is also an optional ‘tutorials and demonstrations’ session between 3pm-4pm. During this time, the NJR Regional Coordinator team will be on hand to offer data entry, Clinician Feedback, data quality audit instructions and any other 1:1 tutorials and demonstrations as required.
Numbers are strictly limited and so pre-registration is compulsory. Anyone interested in attending is advised to book a place without delay.
