This October the Spine Technology Awards will recognise the best spine products, engineering teams and inventors for 2016. The first awards of their kind, the Eighth Annual Spine Technology Awards highlights engineering excellence, innovation and advancement of spinal care. We are pleased to announce that we are accepting submissions to honour the best products, engineering teams, and inventors for 2016. The Spine Technology Awards program will be accepting these entries until 2 September, 2016.
Presented by Orthopedics This Week and RRY Publications LLC, the Spine Technology Awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary and innovative spine surgery products and the engineering teams and inventors who create them.
Awards to be presented in six technology categories:
- Biomaterials and Biologics
- Cervical Care
- Diagnostics and Imaging
- Minimally Invasive Spine Care
- Robotics
- Thoracolumbar Care
Orthopedics This Week founder Robin Young said: “Patients, physicians, hospitals, and reimbursers rely on the inspiration and perspiration of engineers and surgeon-inventors to improve outcomes and to control costs. Most engineers and inventors are little known, so we are proud to provide awards and a venue to recognise their great talents and contributions.”
Who May Enter:
Inventors (and companies) who’ve developed a new product which may improve patient outcomes from spine surgery may enter this contest.
